Biography
The up-and-coming Austrian baritone Günter Haumer is internationally acclaimed for his performance versatility.
He has sung under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel, Christian Thielemann, Ivor Bolton, Jesús López-Cobos, Fabio Luisi, Andrés Orozco-Estrada, Philippe Herreweghe, Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla and Dan Ettinger, among others. He has appeared at the most important concert halls and festivals such as the Wiener Musikverein, Wiener Konzerthaus, Auditorio Nacional de Madrid, Dresdner Philharmonie, Bayreuther Festspiele, Semperoper Dresden, Cité de la musique Paris, Tel Aviv Opera, Osterfestspiele Salzburg, Theater an der Wien, Wiener Festwochen, the Jones Hall for the Performing Arts Texas, Utrecht Alte Musik Festival, Warschauer Philharmonie, Teatro Mayor de Bogotá, Styriarte Graz and the Fundación Juan March.

Vor der herrlichen Seekulisse wird die Deutsche Radio Philharmonie (DRP) Filmmusik aus Hollywood, Melodien vom Broadway und Werke der wichtigsten amerikanischen Komponisten wie Duke Ellington, Samuel Barber, Philip Glass, Leonard und Elmer Bernstein oder Aaron Copland spielen. Außerdem erklingen Werke europäischer Komponisten mit ihrer musikalischen Sicht auf die USA.
